Introducing AI-Enhanced Innovation in Creative Plugins by Boris FX
In a groundbreaking move, Boris FX has announced the 2024 release of its flagship products, Continuum and CrumplePop, integrating advanced AI-driven technologies to revolutionise both visual effects and audio post-production workflows within the Boris FX Suite.
The 2024 versions of CrumplePop, in particular, introduce powerful AI audio cleanup tools designed to simplify complex audio repair tasks for content creators without deep audio engineering knowledge. The updated SoundApp, a standalone AI-driven application included with CrumplePop, uses next-generation AI models to automatically detect and enhance vocal clarity, remove noise and echo, and adjust audio levels efficiently and securely on users’ local machines without cloud processing.
Continuum 2024, on the other hand, offers a comprehensive plugin collection for editors and content creators, featuring a range of visual effects and motion graphics tools tightly integrated with the suite’s other software like Mocha Pro and Sapphire. Although specific AI features in Continuum 2024 are not detailed extensively, its inclusion in the 2024 release alongside AI-powered tools in the suite (like CrumplePop and SynthEyes) reflects Boris FX’s evolving focus on AI-assisted workflows.
The Boris FX Suite, including Continuum, CrumplePop, Mocha Pro, Optics, Sapphire, Silhouette, and SynthEyes, is available as a multi-host annual or monthly subscription. These AI-driven products enhance the overall creative pipeline by automating complex tasks, ensuring high-quality outputs, offering user-friendly interfaces, and maintaining workflow integration across major editing and compositing platforms.
In addition to the suite, Continuum 2024 features new UpRes and DeNoise ML effects for image restoration, and AI-powered Particle Illusion for generating unique particle sprites. CrumplePop 2024, known for its AI audio restoration tools, also introduces improved machine-learning models in five AI audio plugins, producing more accurate, crisp audio in challenging, high-noise environments.
Customers on current subscriptions or upgrade & support plans will receive a free update to the corresponding product releases. The Continuum 2024 toolkit can be downloaded, which includes logos and images. Both Continuum and CrumplePop are also available as individual plugins with annual/monthly subscriptions, upgrade & support plans, and perpetual licenses.
A video is available for CrumplePop 2024's next-generation AI audio tools, and introductory videos are available for DeNoise ML, UpRes ML, and Particle Illusion in Continuum 2024. The Boris FX Suite also includes access to premium training series with downloadable project files, making it easier for users to master these advanced tools.
