YouTuber, Concept Crafted Creations, decided to tap into this boundless source by mirroring the design of one of science's greatest feats - the James Webb Telescope (JWT).

The JWT features multiple hexagonal mirrors that concentrate light into a single point, making it possible to explore the secrets of the universe from faraway light years. Fascinated by this brilliant design, Concept Crafted Creations designed a modular and motorized sun-focusing device, reimagining the elegant JWT for everyday solar energy use.

The clever contraption uses 18 laser-cut plexiglass mirrors, shaped into precise parabolic curves, to capture solar energy with extreme precision - almost enough to cook breakfast on. To boost efficiency, the creator opted for silver chrome, which turns out to be better than gold at absorbing sunlight. Constructed with a mix of ingenious homemade components and low-cost technology, this heat-distributing machine reflects light into a focal point sharp enough to melt metal. An impressive test of the machine heated 20 liters of water from 22.6°C to 44.2°C in just 32 minutes, showcasing remarkable efficiency for a DIY project.
