Renault Master Van H2-TECH Wins Heavy Duty Vehicle of the Year at Millésime Trophées 2023

The Renault Master Van H2-TECH, a pioneering hydrogen-powered vehicle, has been recognised as Heavy Duty Vehicle of the Year at the Millésime Trophées 2023. The award ceremony, held on July 12 at the Parc de Saint Cloud in Paris, France, marked a significant milestone for the vehicle and its developers, HYVIA.

Mehdi Ferhan, COO of HYVIA, was present at the ceremony to accept the prestigious accolade. In his acceptance speech, Ferhan expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the collaboration with the entire hydrogen industry in Europe that made the development of the Renault Master Van H2-TECH possible.

The Renault Master Van H2-TECH is equipped with a 30 kW fuel cell technology and a 33 kWh battery, enabling it to have a range of up to 400 km. The vehicle's interior height is an impressive 1.80 m, allowing occupants to stand comfortably inside. It also boasts a loading volume of 12 m³, making it suitable for freight and parcel transport.

The electric motor of the Renault Master Van H2-TECH delivers 57 kW of power, while the vehicle's optimal refueling time is just 5 minutes. This efficiency not only makes the vehicle an attractive option for businesses and local authorities seeking to maintain competitiveness with a zero-emission vehicle, but also contributes to the enrichment of a unique and complete ecosystem.
