HVAC Specialist Position - Field Service Technician II
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI), a leader in the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets, is seeking a Field Service Technician II - IT Cooling. The position is based in Dallas, TX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical service support to ensure the proper function of IT cooling systems used in critical infrastructure. Key job requirements and duties include:
- Technical expertise in IT cooling systems and related electro-mechanical equipment.
- Skill in troubleshooting and repairs of IT cooling products to maintain optimal operation.
- Ability to provide service support to internal and external customers.
- Likely experience in HVAC or similar technical fields related to cooling systems.
The role requires providing responsive technical support, scheduled and on-call emergency field service, and technical support. The technician will also perform on-site support, troubleshooting, and scheduled service.
To be considered, applicants should hold an Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field, with 2-5 years of experience. They should also possess a valid driver's license and be able to rent vehicles as needed.
The technician should hold the EPA Section 608 Certification. Candidates who hold advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials will be at an advantage.
