During the same panel, Esposito paid tribute to some Star Wars legends that influenced his performance as Moff Gideon. "I went back and rewatched Peter Cushing's Grand Moff performance. His acting was magnificent and really piqued my interest," he said. "I also looked up James Earl Jones' Darth Vader. The way he carried himself, the mannerisms, it was just bloody brilliant!"
