Flydocs Partners with Air Atlanta Icelandic for Five Years, Digitizing Fleet Management

Flydocs, a leading provider of digital records and asset management solutions in the aviation sector, has marked another milestone with a five-year agreement with Air Atlanta Icelandic. The partnership reflects a shared vision to deliver stronger value to customers and positions Flydocs as the go-to provider in its field.

Under the agreement, Flydocs will take over the technical data management and maintenance documentation for Air Atlanta Icelandic's fleet of 17 aircraft. While Flydocs will handle the digitalised administration and organisation of these documents, Air Atlanta Icelandic remains legally responsible for the safety, execution, and adherence to all maintenance work, as per the regulations of the relevant aviation authorities. The operational leadership of the maintenance department will continue to lie with Air Atlanta Icelandic, but Flydocs will centralise, digitise, and optimise the technical data management processes. Air Atlanta Icelandic aims to adopt Flydocs' Digital Records Management solution across its fleet to streamline maintenance oversight and ensure real-time compliance, moving away from traditional paper-based methods. The Flydocs system will be fully integrated with TRAX, Air Atlanta Icelandic's existing M&E platform, aiming to sharpen operational efficiency and improve overall fleet management.

In conclusion, Flydocs' partnership with Air Atlanta Icelandic demonstrates a commitment to digital-first processes in aviation. While Flydocs will handle the technical data management and maintenance documentation, Air Atlanta Icelandic retains legal responsibility for maintenance work. The integration of Flydocs' system with TRAX is expected to enhance operational efficiency and fleet management for Air Atlanta Icelandic.
