First Summer School on 'Automotive Circular Economy' Kicks Off in September

The first Summer School on the 'Automotive Circular Economy' is set to take place from September 8 to 12 at the Joint Campus Wolfsburg. This event aligns with the TU Brunswick's Ecoversity strategy, focusing on interdisciplinary work to develop sustainable solutions for global challenges in the automotive industry.

The Joint Campus Wolfsburg is a strategic initiative of the city of Wolfsburg, supported by a partnership involving Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH and BREMER Projektentwicklung GmbH. The campus aims to become a flagship location in the automotive circular economy, offering research expertise and educational programs.

The Summer School is backed by Volkswagen, the city of Wolfsburg, and other partners. Students will explore questions such as designing vehicle components for easier repair and recycling, and identifying suitable recycling materials. The event provides practical relevance through workshops and excursions, helping students develop ideas for sustainable automotive production.

The first Summer School on the 'Automotive Circular Economy' is a significant step towards strengthening the region as a research and training location. It brings together students from various disciplines to work on real-world problems, fostering innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
