The Innovationsförderung Smart Farming Conference 2023 is set to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts for a day of insightful discussions, panel debates, and keynote speeches, focusing on the future of agriculture technology.
The conference kicks off at 10:00 with a joint opening by Niklas Veltkamp and Hester Somsen. The day will be filled with a variety of sessions, starting with the Keynote Digital Farming in Rheinland-Pfalz, delivered by Andy Becht, State Secretary, Ministry of Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Wine, Rhineland-Palatinate.
From 10:55 to 11:30, the panel discussion on AI in Agribusiness: Europe's Takeoff or Breakthrough? will take place, moderated by Leah Schrimpf. This will be followed by the Keynote Fostering Innovation in Smart Farming: How do new technologies reach the field?, delivered by Nikola Steinbock.
A Panel Discussion on Agricultural Enterprises in Transition: Digitalization as the Key to Competitiveness? will take place from 10:15 to 10:55. The discussion will delve into the role of digitalization in ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises.
At 11:30, the Keynote Eating on Mars: Sprunginnovationen für die Landwirtschaft von morgen will be presented, followed by a Panel Discussion on Carbon Tracing in the Agri-Food Chain: How Data Can Create More Climate Transparency in the Supply Chain from 11:45 to 12:20.
After a lunch break from 12:20 to 13:20, there will be a Panel Discussion on Digital First & Once-Only: Paths to Modern Agricultural Administration from 13:20 to 13:55. This will be followed by a Panel Discussion on Tablets & Traktor: Zukunftskompetenzen für die Landwirtschaftliche Aus- und Weiterbildung.
From 14:30 to 15:00, the Impulse & Bühnengespräch on Data Sharing the European Way will take place, moderated by Olaf Deininger, Agrarzeitung. This will be followed by Coffee & Networking from 15:00 to 15:30.
The Keynote Innovationsförderung Smart Farming: Wie kommen neue Technologien in die Fläche? is at 16:15 to 16:30. The day will continue with a Panel Discussion on AI Applied in AgriBusiness: Europa im Aufbruch oder Durchbruch?, moderated by Leah Schrimpf.
From 16:30 to 17:00, the Startup Pitch powered by Rentenbank will showcase innovative startups in the agricultural sector. The Award Ceremony and Conclusion will take place at 17:15 to 17:30.
