Female entrepreneurs will participate in a pitch competition, organized by Bitget and 0xConnect, specifically targeting women-led businesses.
Blockchain4Her Program and Pitch & Slay Competition for Women Entrepreneurs
Bitget, in collaboration with the organizers of the 0xConnect Girls event, is set to host a pitch competition called Pitch & Slay for women entrepreneurs in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sphere, as announced in a press release. The event is part of the global Blockchain4Her program, an initiative aiming to foster gender equality within these industries.
In order to participate, applicants must fill out a Google form and meet the following criteria:
- At least one woman must hold a leadership position within the company, such as founder, co-founder, or top management.
- The company's product or service must relate directly to the blockchain and cryptocurrency market.
- The project must be at the minimum viable product (MVP) stage or later.
Applications for the Pitch & Slay competition will close on April 15, 2025. The live event will take place on the same date in Moscow, allowing participants a 5-10 minute window to present their project. All presentations may include video materials, static presentations, and handouts in either Russian or English.
A jury will evaluate all submissions and choose the winners, who will receive a cash prize of $5000 and mentorship support from Bitget and 0xConnect Girls.
According to Wugar Usi Zade, Bitget's operational director, the Blockchain4Her program has been in operation since 2024. During this time, Bitget has offered grants to talented entrepreneurs and has backed their business growth through pitch competitions worldwide. Moreover, Bitget supports initiatives like the Blockchain4Her Awards, which celebrate and recognize achievements in the blockchain sector. They also invest in programs focused on blockchain literacy and development, such as the Blockchain 4 Youth.
