Experience IBC 2024 in Amsterdam: Unite with Us!
IBC 2024, taking place at Hall 7.A45, RAI Amsterdam, is set to host the demonstration of the latest updates to the Boris FX Suite. The event runs from Friday, September 13 to Monday, September 16, with the exhibition hours from 9:30 to 16:00 on Monday and from 10:30 to 18:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
At Dell's booth, visitors will have the opportunity to witness the unveiling of Continuum 2025, a significant update to the Boris FX Suite. Key highlights include AI-supported motion blur, license plate blurring, new transitions, updated effects, and improvements to Particle Illusion, enhancing visual effects and motion graphics workflows.
Sapphire 2025, another highlight of the event, adds new effects such as VHS Damage, Dissolve light leaks, new lens flares, and new presets, further expanding creative options for video editors.
The Boris FX Suite, a collection of powerful tools, includes three products using machine-learning technology: Continuum, Silhouette, and CrumplePop. Continuum, a product within the suite, builds on its reputation as the most comprehensive plugin toolkit with new features like a mograph audio visualizer, true 3D particles in Particle Illusion, and over 150 presets.
Continuum also offers features to eliminate noise, scale up images, hide faces, create artifact-free time warps, restore audio, and speed up daily roto tasks like garbage masks and temp comps.
Optics, another product within the suite, offers 8 fresh creative effects, the ability to mask and isolate Particle Illusion's effects, and over 100 presets based on beauty retouching, digital damage, glows, lens flares, light leaks, and more.
SynthEyes, a sister product to Mocha Pro, offers advanced 3D camera solve capabilities with a newly overhauled Flame Exporter, an Advanced Distortion plugin for After Effects, a rectangle sizing tool, and enhanced camera libraries with new models.
Mocha Pro, another product within the suite, provides an easy-to-use 3D tracking workflow with features like speedy tracking algorithms, USD (Universal Scene Description) import/export options, a completely overhauled Flame Exporter, an Advanced Distortion plugin for After Effects, a rectangle sizing tool, and enhanced camera libraries with new models.
In addition to the product demonstrations, Ben Brownlee, the director of content, will be conducting live demonstrations of new tools in the Boris FX Suite. Limited one-on-one demo slots are available and can be booked. John-Paul Smith, Moritz Fortmann, and Boris Yamnitsky will also be available to answer any questions.
