The European Space Agency (ESA) will establish a new Cyber Security Operations Centre (C-SOC) on Tuesday, aimed at bolstering the security of its satellites, ground stations, and control systems. Situated at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, the C-SOC will debut at 10:00 AM local time. The initiative is a critical component of ESA's evolving cybersecurity strategy to safeguard European space assets.

The C-SOC will serve as a continuous, round-the-clock monitoring, detection, and response hub for potential cyber threats to ESA's space mission infrastructure.
