Equifax UK Appoints David Bernard as New General Manager
Equifax UK and Ireland has appointed David Bernard as its new General Manager. Bernard brings over 25 years of global leadership experience across various industries, including B2B technology, data, fintech, and digital sectors. He will focus on accelerating growth and innovation at Equifax UK, the leading credit reference agency.
Bernard's appointment comes after Equifax UK completed its cloud transformation journey, becoming the first cloud-native UK credit bureau. In September, Equifax launched a new AI Innovation Lab in Wexford to advance global artificial intelligence research and development. Equifax UK has also published its 2025 Financial Health Report, advocating for accelerating financial inclusion, and launched new solutions such as the Business Intelligence Suite and Financed Emissions Calculator.
Bernard has held pivotal roles at Thomson Reuters and another major credit reference agency. He has also led growth-stage technology companies. Patricio Remon, President International at Equifax, praised Bernard's expertise and track record, stating he is the ideal leader for the UK&I operations.
