Elon Musk once more resorts to napping in conference rooms and production facilities.
In light of a two-hour outage on the online service X, entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced a shift in focus towards his companies. Musk, who has recently been involved in Donald Trump's government department for state efficiency, said that larger operational improvements were required at X.
After the outage was resolved, Musk stated, "As the X operational issues this week have shown, larger operational improvements are needed." In addition, the billionaire entrepreneur shared that he would return to round-the-clock work, spending 24/7 at work and even sleeping in conference, server, and factory rooms.
Musk's busy schedule includes roles as the owner or CEO of X, the AI developer xAI with the chatbot Grok, the electric car maker Tesla, and the spaceflight company SpaceX. Recently, Musk announced a reduction in his involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency, allowing him to focus more on his own ventures.
SpaceX, another company under Musk's leadership, has announced plans for the launch of its new giant rocket, Starship, into space next week. The top stage of the rocket exploded in both previous test flights.
