The Hongqi EH7, a new electric sedan from the renowned Hongqi brand, is set to make its debut on March 20, as announced by the brand on Weibo. This mid-to-large-sized vehicle is built using the FME platform and is the first pure electric sedan built by Hongqi, based on this architecture.
The Hongqi EH7 boasts an impressive powertrain, with both single-motor and dual-motor versions available. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 253 kW, while the dual-motor variant offers even more robust performance, with motors capable of producing up to 202 kW and 253 kW respectively. This dual-motor setup results in acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in an impressive 3.9 seconds.
The Hongqi EH7 is equipped with an 85 kWh battery, offering a claimed electric range of about 510 km per full charge. This electric sedan also boasts a top speed of 190 kilometers per hour.
In terms of design, the Hongqi EH7 features a sleek exterior and a premium interior, complete with a panoramic sunroof and advanced intelligent driving systems. The vehicle also offers a fast charging capability, ensuring that owners can get back on the road quickly when needed.
