E-Enduro rider's ideal machine, boasting a robust Bosch propulsion unit and top-tier Fox Factory suspension, comes at a premium price.
Yeti has unveiled the LTe, a new addition to their e-mountain bike series, designed with race-focused performance in mind. The LTe is a high-performance machine, boasting a lightweight carbon frame and Yeti's Sixfinity-Linkage technology, which delivers a sensitive, powerful, and adjustable suspension system.
The LTe is available in three models in the UK: the C2 Factory, the T3, and the T4 Race.
The LTe C2 Factory
The most entry-level model of the LTe series, the C2 Factory, is equipped with the Bosch CX motor and an 800Wh battery. It also features SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission and Maven Bronze brakes, offering a solid foundation for any racing adventure. The C2 Factory is priced at £9,499.
The Mid-Level T3
Stepping up the game, the mid-level T3 model uses SRAM's X0 Transmission and Bosch's Gen 5 CX motor, paired with Maven Silver brakes and an impressive 800Wh battery. This model retails at £10,999.
The Top-Tier T4 Race
For those seeking the ultimate racing experience, the T4 Race offers Bosch's CX-R race motor, which delivers an impressive 100Nm of torque and a max power of 750W in Race Mode. This top-tier model also comes with Fox Factory suspension, SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission, and Maven Ultimate brakes, making it the crème de la crème of the LTe series, priced at £12,999.
Design Features
The LTe boasts several design features that set it apart from other e-mountain bikes. For instance, it features integrated mudguards that do not interfere with suspension movement, ensuring a smooth ride even in the muddiest conditions.
Yeti has also added downtube guards to the LTe, which double as an access door to the battery and internal cables, making maintenance a breeze. Rubber guards are found on the chainstay and seatstays of the LTe, providing additional protection.
One of the standout features of the LTe is its frame, which uses a carbon fiber layup that includes Vectran plies, similar to Kevlar, for added protection in areas like the chainstays, top tube, down tube, and chainstays.
Finally, the LTe offers grommets and clamp closures that allow for the use of either mechanical or electronic drivetrains, offering flexibility to riders.
In conclusion, the Yeti LTe is a revolutionary e-mountain bike that combines race-focused performance with cutting-edge design. Whether you're a seasoned racer or just starting out, the LTe series offers a model to suit your needs.
