Once you complete the basic trainer quests, you'll be ready to seek out the advanced trainers, unlocking the path to upgraded techniques, passives, and abilities. Don't worry about using skill points ineffectively along the way; it's a cinch to respec in Dune: Awakening.

Finding the Trooper Trainer 🚀

The Trooper trainer in Dune: Awakening is Ghavouri. You'll find him at Griffin's Trading Outpost. He's got a bone to pick with some local gang leaders in the basin, and if you're willing to take them out in his Proving Grounds quest, he'll owe you a favor and unlock the Trooper skill tree.

The Planetologist's Teacher: Managing Minmic Film 🌟

The basic Planetologist trainer, Derek Chinara, set up camp just above Imperial Testing Station No. 2. He'll agree to mentor you once you complete the Minmic Film recovery quest.

The door that the ID bracelet unlocks is just across the room, so go inside and poison the supply container. With that done, Samin will be more than happy to teach you Mentat techniques.

To find Sister Mesa, the basic Bene Gesserit trainer, head to Helius Gate, in the Eastern Shield Wall region. You'll find Helius Gate directly north of The Wreck of the Pallas, the large PvP-enabled shipwreck in Western Vermillius Gap.

Once you've found Sister Mesa, you'll need to help her find two important texts: "Lisan al-Gaib and..." and "The Mahdi's Blade". Once you've handed these over, she'll unlock the Bene Gesserit skill tree for you.

Becoming a Master Swordsman: The Swordmaster Trainer ⚔️

The basic Swordmaster Trainer, Arno, can be found in Pinnacle Station, the trading post in the Jabal-Eifrit Al-gharb region. To reach it, head due north from The Wreck of the Pallas, the large shipwreck in Western Vermillius Gap. The trading post looks just like the others (Griffin's Rest and The Anvil), so it's easy to spot from a distance.

To become Arno's apprentice, complete the Checking the Post quest. This will require you to search for Devil's Eye Cavern, The Wreck of the Pallas, and Imperial Testing Station No. 76. After you've finished these tasks, return to Arno at Pinnacle Station, and he'll unlock the Swordmaster skill tree for you.
