Dubai Harbour Hosts GITEX Global 2025 & Expand North Star in October
Dubai Harbour will host two significant events in October 2025: GITEX Global 2025 and Expand North Star. The former, running from the 13th to the 17th, is expected to attract global tech giants and showcase cutting-edge innovations. The latter, from the 12th to the 15th, will connect startups with investors on a massive scale.
GITEX Global 2025 promises to be a monumental event, with over 6,800 companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries participating. It will feature major breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum computing, semiconductors, and data centres. The global AI market is projected to reach US$4.8 trillion by 2033, reflecting the event's focus.
The exhibition will span over 40 halls, including those dedicated to innovative startups like MEFERI and Posiflex. MEFERI will present AI-driven solutions for fraud prevention and service quality improvement, while Posiflex will showcase smarter AI business solutions. Global tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, AWS, Huawei, and Dell will also be in attendance.
Expand North Star, running concurrently, will connect 2,000 high-growth startups with over 1,200 investors managing a combined US$1.1 trillion in assets. This event is set to facilitate significant investments and partnerships in the tech startup ecosystem.
With Brazil joining as Country Partner and delegations from Serbia, Canada, Chile, Spain, and Türkiye participating, GITEX Global 2025 is poised to be a truly global event. Data centre investments globally have already topped US$500 billion, indicating the sector's growth and potential. Both events are expected to drive innovation, investment, and growth in the tech industry.
