Digital Operator Hosts Inaugural "Cyber Class": Cybersecurity Workshop for Schoolchildren
Life:), a digital operator, recently conducted the first "Cyber Class," a cybersecurity workshop aimed at schoolchildren. The event, supported by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, and international company Kaspersky, was held at the National Children's Technopark, where 80 fifth-grade students received an introduction to digital security.
Andrey Sidenko, head of the children's online safety department at Kaspersky, shed light on the deceptive tactics employed by scammers. He revealed that these digital predators use artificial intelligence, neural networks, and deepfake technology to deceive internet users. Other tools scammers utilize include generating texts, images, and videos through AI, as well as creating fake websites and phishing campaigns.

In the second part of the workshop, the children learned about the common tricks used by scammers while playing mobile games. Vadim Gafarov, the lead cybersecurity specialist at life:)'s Cybersecurity Center, briefed them on the risks associated with clicking on in-game prize links, identifying genuine websites, and avoiding suspicious 'tech support' calls.
