The suggested retail price for horsehide holsters is $180, a significant increase from the $80 price tag of cowhide holsters. However, a search for a specific manufacturer offering all its IWB and OWB leather holsters from horse leather with a $100 surcharge did not yield any results. DeSantis, however, has started offering custom horsehide holsters for an additional $100. The horsehide Mini Scabbard holster has been praised for its suitability for minimalist OWB use.
