Deliveries of Lucid's Gravity SUV model are scheduled to commence in April for customers
Lucid Gravity Electric SUV Deliveries Begin in April
Lucid Motors, the luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, is set to deliver its second model, the Gravity electric SUV, to customers by the end of April. The Gravity, which was unveiled in August 2025 at Monterey Car Week, has been in production at Lucid's manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona since December.
Initially, deliveries were limited to employees, friends, and family. However, as production ramped up in the months following, Lucid began preparing for wider distribution. As of January, Gravity owners have access to over 20,000 Superchargers in Canada and the United States.
The Gravity electric SUV is equipped with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing access to Tesla's Supercharger network. The vehicles are expected to begin arriving at Lucid's locations across the U.S. starting in April.
The Gravity comes in two trims: the Grand Touring and the lower-priced Touring. The Grand Touring variant, priced at C$134,500, boasts a 450-mile range and all-wheel drive, aiming to establish the vehicle’s reputation. The Touring model, expected in the second half of 2026, will be the initial production version for customers, starting around $79,900.
Marc Winterhoff, Lucid's interim CEO, announced the delivery schedule for the Gravity electric SUV. He stated that the vehicle is a crucial milestone for Lucid as it attempts to establish itself in the highly competitive EV space. Orders for the Gravity opened up in November 2024.
While the concept was revealed in mid-2025, the general public delivery of Lucid Gravity models will start late 2026 and extend into 2027 for broader availability. The base Touring model is mentioned as arriving in the second half of 2026, with prices starting around $82,000 and going up to $142,000 depending on trim and options.
The Gravity electric SUV is hoped to gain more traction in the EV marketplace due to its SUV form factor and Lucid's focus on advanced tech and spacious seating for up to seven. With its Supercharger compatibility and competitive pricing, the Gravity could be a game-changer in the EV market.
