Cushman & Wakefield Appointed as Property Manager for OneNKY Center and SparkHaus by the NKY Port Authority

In a significant development for the city of Covington, Northern Kentucky, the Northern Kentucky Port Authority has selected Cushman & Wakefield to provide property management services for the OneNKY Center and the innovative SparkHaus.

Located in downtown Covington, alongside the OneNKY Center, SparkHaus is breathing new life into a historic building on Madison Avenue. This dynamic space offers co-working space, private offices, and caters to both short-term and long-term tenants. Tenants moving into SparkHaus include many startups investing in physical office space for the first time.

The OneNKY Center, a new construction that will change the Covington skyline, houses a state-of-the-art life sciences lab run by LifeSciKY. The OneNKY Center and SparkHaus, Class A buildings encompassing nearly 100,000 square feet of space, are attracting approximately 90 employees and hundreds of guests each week.

Tenants in SparkHaus will begin moving in during late summer, with a grand opening celebration planned in September. Christian Hinkle, managing director, asset services at Cushman & Wakefield, expressed excitement about the partnership with the Northern Kentucky Port Authority.

Cushman & Wakefield's services are designed to support the operational efficiency and appeal of the OneNKY Center and SparkHaus. These services include regular cleaning, maintenance, snow removal, and additional facility management tasks such as security, landscaping, and possibly administrative support. The exact scope of these services will be outlined in the official contract or further announcements.

The OneNKY Center is home to 10 Northern Kentucky growth organisations, including BE NKY Growth Partnership, Catalytic Fund of Northern Kentucky, EducateNKY, Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky, LifeSciKY, meetNKY, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, OneNKY Alliance, and Thomas More University Division of External Affairs.
