The State-Provided MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard is set to launch with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) committing to give six months' notice before the launch date. This announcement was confirmed by the Minister for Pensions and the Pensions Dashboards Programme in early July 2025, indicating that the launch is expected within six months following that notice period, though a specific launch date has not yet been provided.

Progress in connecting the pensions dashboards ecosystem has been significant. Hundreds of pension providers and schemes have already connected, with over 20 million pension records included. Notably, the State Pension itself has completed its technical connection to the ecosystem, marking a key milestone towards the launch of the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard.

Among the industry participants connecting to the pensions dashboards ecosystem is WTW. Geraldine Brassett, senior consultant at WTW, expressed satisfaction with the industry's connection and the preparations for the MoneyHelper dashboard's consumer testing. Other key organizations expected to connect include large occupational pension schemes, financial conduct authority-regulated operators of personal pension schemes, and private pension providers such as Standard Life, Aegon, Moneybox, and Legal & General.

The ecosystem continues to grow as more providers connect ahead of the final deadline set for 31 October 2026 when all eligible pension schemes should be connected. The phased rollout is designed to ensure broad industry participation and a smooth user experience once the MoneyHelper dashboard goes live.

At the latest dashboards town hall event on 9 July 2025, hosted by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), updates were shared. Oliver Morley, CEO of MaPS, highlighted the progress made since the last pensions dashboards town hall event in December 2024. He also thanked everyone who attended and expressed gratitude for the ongoing commitment to delivering dashboards. The event was attended by industry attendees and included presentations from PDP, the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard team, the Minister, The Pensions Regulator, and the Financial Conduct Authority.

The MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard, once launched, is expected to contribute to improving people's financial wellbeing. MaPS' consumer testing for the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard is scheduled to start this summer. The Pensions Dashboards Programme remains confident that all providers and schemes in scope for dashboards will have been able to connect by the legal deadline of 31 October 2026.
