Completed development of laser defense system in Israel

Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, has declared that enemies from various regions, including Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, should be aware that Israel's defense capabilities are strong, and they will do everything to protect the security of Israeli citizens. This declaration comes in the wake of the successful completion of the development and testing of a ground-breaking defense system, named "Iron Beam".

The Ministry of Defense in Israel has announced the successful completion of the development of this laser defense weapon. The first systems of this laser defense weapon, including "Iron Beam", are expected to be integrated into the Israeli air defense by the end of the year.

The development of "Iron Beam" is considered a "historic milestone" for Israel's defense capabilities, according to Defense Minister Katz. Israeli defense companies Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems were involved in the development of the laser defense system.

The laser defense system, "Iron Beam", is a ground-based air defense system capable of intercepting missiles, mortars, aircraft, and drones in various scenarios. It is significantly cheaper than existing defense systems and reportedly has very low operating costs.

Tests of the system have been conducted over several weeks, and prototypes of tactical short-range lasers, including "Iron Beam", have already been used in the current war and have intercepted numerous threats. The system is considered less expensive than the multi-stage missile defense system currently used by Israel.

According to US reports, "Iron Beam" can neutralize drone targets for approximately four dollars per engagement. Its precise targeting technology and high efficiency make it capable of neutralizing threats quickly.

The successful completion of development and testing is considered a "decisive milestone" before the system is handed over to the army for operational use. With the integration of "Iron Beam" into the Israeli air defense, the country will have the first laser defense system of its kind. This development is expected to significantly strengthen Israel's defense capabilities and provide better protection for its citizens.
