Cobalt Digital Intends to Exhibit Plug-and-Play ST 2110 Solutions at IBC 2025

At IBC 2025, Cobalt Digital is set to showcase an array of new products and features designed to streamline IP-based broadcasting workflows and support higher resolution operations.

Cobalt Digital's highlight at the event includes plug-and-play ST 2110 solutions, which aim to make IP workflows easier to deploy and operate in broadcast environments. The company is also expanding its range of IP Media Experience (IPMX) products, designed to boost interoperability and flexibility in professional media networks.

New additions to the SAPPHIRE BBG-2110 compact mini converter series will debut at IBC, including the SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Hi/4Sio and SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-2Hi2Ho/4Sio models. These mini converters support up to four signals up to 1080p60, or one 4K signal, with each channel individually selectable between SDI and ST 2110.

The UltraBlue Multiviewer will also evolve to meet customers' requirements, offering scalable output options. Engineered for demanding workflows, the SAPPHIRE devices deliver low-latency IP conversion with support for 10G/25G Ethernet, audio sample rate conversion, and asynchronous audio mixing.

Cobalt will also introduce a new single-button audio monitor model, ARIA AUD-MON, for ultra-simple operation. The ARIA OG-AUD4-DANTE, a bidirectional audio embedder/deembedder router card, will also be showcased, featuring 12G, SDI, MADI, AES, and Dante inputs and outputs.

The PACIFIC 9992-ENC flexible MPEG-2/AVC/HEVC encoder will also be featured at IBC. The encoder now supports ST 2110-20 (baseband) and offers an ST 2110-22 option for JPEG-XS video.

The UltraBlue MV-SW Multiviewer will be presented with multiple new features, supporting all compressed flavors and uncompressed IP/SDI inputs, and scalable output options. The lineup also includes converters, encoders, audio monitors, and multiviewers available in various form factors, such as openGear cards and standalone units.
