Canada secures two victories in the recent Tesla Supercharger voting round

=================================================================================================

Tesla's community-driven Supercharger Voting initiative is shaping the future of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with two locations in Canada, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, recently announced as winners in the latest round.

This quarterly programme empowers Tesla owners to directly influence the expansion of Supercharger stations by selecting new locations for charging sites. Tesla provides a vast list of over 1,100 potential locations worldwide for voters to choose from, with users also having the option to suggest entirely new locations for future voting cycles.

The voting process takes place on Tesla's official Supercharger Voting webpage, requiring sign-in to a Tesla account. Each quarter, Tesla invites account holders to vote for up to five proposed Supercharger sites, with a maximum of one vote per location. The most popular locations on the leaderboard are announced as winners at the end of each quarter.

This data-driven, user-focused approach helps Tesla align infrastructure development with actual user demand and regional needs. The initiative has been active since 2022 and forms part of Tesla's strategy to expand its charging network in areas where it is most needed.

In this round, Tesla will add Superchargers in various locations across the United States, including Gardiner, Montana; Walla Walla, Washington; Willow Springs, Missouri; Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Prosper, Texas; Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Sandy Springs, Georgia; and Wesley Chapel, Florida. Additionally, 18 new Supercharger sites will join Tesla's rapidly growing charging network.

Canada also saw several locations in the running, with Alberta having a total of 12 Supercharger sites up for voting, including multiple locations in Calgary and Edmonton, as well as in Grand Cache, Athabasca, Bonnyville, and more.

Unfortunately, Newfoundland and Labrador does not have any Supercharger sites in this round, and regrettably, there are no Supercharger sites in this round in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.

In Eastern Canada, there are a number of Supercharger sites, including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia. Quebec continues to be a dominant force in the Supercharger voting process.

British Columbia also has four new Supercharger sites up for voting: Langford, Courtenay, UBC, and Prince Rupert. New Superchargers will also be coming to Siheung, South Korea; Sydney West, Australia; Kumiyama, Japan; Istanbul West, Turkey; Sopron, Hungary; Monza, Italy; Strymoniko, Greece; and Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.

The next round of Supercharger voting is already live and can be accessed at tesla.com/supercharger-voting. Don't miss your chance to shape the future of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Cast your votes and suggest new locations today!
