BOMAG Unveils CR 7 Series: New Compact Rollers for Road & Earthworks
BOMAG GmbH, a global leader in road construction and compaction technology, has introduced the new CR 7 series of double-vibrator compactors. These modern, compact rubber-wheeled rollers are designed for a wide range of compaction tasks in road construction, earthworks, and canal construction.
The CR 7 series offers different versions, including engine types, additional features, and emission reduction options. The CR 7 weighs between 425 and 485 kg, with vibration-damped control handles and height-adjustable control rods, ensuring low hand-arm vibrations. Customers can choose between a Honda gasoline engine GX 270 and a Hatz diesel engine 1B20 for the CR 3, which features ergonomically shaped and vibration-damped control handles, keeping hand-arm vibrations below 2.5 m/s². The CR 7 has a nearly closed engine hood that can be folded open for quick access to maintenance points, addressing issues of hard-to-reach maintenance points and insufficiently protected engines in previous models. The CR 3 remains available in six variants in the new generation, each equipped with a stable tube frame for engine protection and durability.
The CR 7 series aims to provide solutions to these challenges, offering improved accessibility to maintenance points and enhanced engine protection. With a choice of engine types and additional features, the CR 7 series caters to a wide range of customer needs. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, customers are advised to consult the official BOMAG website or contact a BOMAG dealer directly.
