Bolsters Electronics Expansion in India via 50+ Brands on Moglix Platform
Rahul Garg, the Founder and CEO of Moglix, one of Asia's largest industrial supply chain platforms, has been making strides in the electronics sector. Before founding Moglix, Rahul held leadership roles at Google Asia and Freescale Semiconductor. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, ISB Hyderabad, and Harvard Business School.
At Electronica India 2025 in Bangalore, Moglix onboarded over 50 suppliers on its platform. The platform provides access to more than 50 authorized brands, offering global consolidation, multi-currency billing, alternate sourcing options, and just-in-time deliveries.
As the electronics industry shifts towards local assembly, integration, and value addition, the need for trusted component suppliers, strategic sourcing partners, and authorized distribution channels has become critical. Moglix is stepping up to meet this need, connecting global technology leaders with Indian enterprises.
Moglix is further expanding its role as a trusted partner in the electronics ecosystem. It has recently connected with global technology leaders like SCHURTER Group (Switzerland), Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics (China), MoMAGIC Technologies (India), and Motor-Comm Electronics (China).
The electronics industry in India is projected to grow significantly in the coming years. Exports in the industry are expected to grow from $28 billion to $61 billion in the same period, driven by various sectors like mobile phones, consumer electronics, automotive, green energy, defence, telecom, and medical equipment. According to projections, the industry is expected to grow from around $130 billion in 2025 to $500 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 26 percent.
Rahul Garg, in his role as a first-generation entrepreneur, is building resilient, technology-led procurement ecosystems. He stated that Moglix is enabling India's vision of becoming a trusted player in the global value chain by connecting global technology leaders with Indian enterprises.
Moglix's platform serves industries such as automotive, consumer durables, defence, industrial, lighting, solar, telecom, and energy meters. It has a strong presence in India's major industrial hubs including Bangalore, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Jaipur, and Kolkata.
Rahul Garg has been recognised for his contributions, being named among Fortune 40 Under 40, Forbes Tycoons of Tomorrow, and IIT Kanpur Distinguished Alumnus. His leadership at Moglix is enabling enterprises to scale with speed, reliability, and resilience.
However, the search results do not provide specific information about which global suppliers Moglix has included in its network that are not of Indian origin.
As Moglix continues to grow and expand, it will be interesting to see how it contributes to India's ambition to become a global hub for advanced manufacturing and semiconductors.
