BMW Marks Lerma Plant's 30th Anniversary with Exclusive M2 Coupé
BMW is marking the 30th anniversary of its Lerma Plant with a special edition M2 Coupe. Dubbed the '30 Years Edition', this limited-run model is priced at $2,149,900 MXN (~ $108,500) and is now available in Mexico.
The M2 Coupe 30 Years Edition comes in two exclusive liveries: Individual Frozen Portimao Blau metallic and BMW Individual Frozen Pure Grey metallic. Under the hood, it packs a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, delivering 480 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Produced in Mexico since 1994, the M2 Coupe 30 Years Edition commemorates the start of BMW's production in the country. The seats are outfitted by Recaro, a renowned manufacturer in the automotive industry. Only 30 units of this special edition will be produced worldwide, all reserved for the Mexican market.
The BMW M2 Coupe 30 Years Edition is a celebration of BMW's three-decade presence in Mexico. With its exclusive design, powerful engine, and limited production run, it's a true collector's item for BMW enthusiasts in the country.
