Bergische Bau Days 2025: Learn Climate-Resilient Building & Flood Protection

Mark your calendars for the Bergische Bau Days, taking place on September 27th and 28th, 2025. This event, held in a large tent at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz in Bergisch Gladbach, promises to educate visitors about climate-conscious building, renovation, and protection against heavy rain and flooding. The event runs from 10:00 to 18:00 each day.

The EKKO team from the Rheinisch-Bergisch district will also be present.

Additionally, certified energy advisors and volunteer solar advisors will be available to discuss individual measures for private homes and local funding options.

For a hands-on experience, visitors can explore different insulation materials and renovation options using a thermal insulation box and a VR headset. Children can enjoy face painting and a coloring corner, ensuring a fun day out for the whole family.
