Beats, an Apple subsidiary, has unveiled the Powerbeats Pro 2, an upgraded version of their popular wireless earbuds. The new model boasts enhanced features for both athletes and everyday listeners.
The Powerbeats Pro 2 introduces advanced Active Noise Cancelling, blocking out distractions for immersive listening. Built-in sensors measure heart rate over 100 times per second, providing real-time feedback during workouts.
The earbuds are rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance, ensuring durability during tough workouts. They are 20 percent lighter than the first generation, offering comfort even during long listening sessions. The case is now 33 percent smaller and supports wireless Qi charging.
Flexible earhooks, made with nickel titanium alloy, provide stability during movement. The earbuds feature Adaptive EQ for automatic sound adjustment and Personalized Spatial Audio for an immersive listening experience. Transparency Mode allows users to stay aware of their surroundings without removing the earbuds.
With up to 45 hours of listening time including the charging case, the Powerbeats Pro 2 caters to both athletes and everyday listeners.
