Banks and Delimobile join forces for a partnership

In a groundbreaking move, Delimobil, the largest car-sharing service in Russia, and OTP Bank, one of the top 20 largest banks in Russia, have joined forces to integrate financial services into urban mobility. The partnership, launched on August 4, 2025, aims to create a smarter, more connected urban transportation ecosystem.

The collaboration has several key components:

  1. Integrated Payment Systems: OTP Bank's digital banking and payment services have been incorporated directly into Delimobil’s platform, allowing users to pay for car-sharing rides, manage accounts, and top up balances seamlessly.
  2. Flexible Financing and Credit Options: Through the partnership, OTP Bank offers financial products such as installment payments or credit services to Delimobil customers, making urban transportation more accessible.
  3. Promotions and Loyalty Programs: The partnership often includes joint promotional campaigns and loyalty programs that reward customers for using both Delimobil’s mobility services and OTP Bank’s financial products.
  4. Enhanced Customer Experience: By combining Delimobil’s urban mobility solutions with OTP Bank’s financial technology, the partnership streamlines the entire journey from vehicle reservation and usage to payment and financial management.

The project, which will run until October 2025, will see 600 Delimobil cars sport a new branded design, featuring decals in OTP Bank's signature colours and the slogan "Everything will be OTP!". The Delimobil app is part of the collaboration, allowing users to order an OTP Card and enjoy loyalty program benefits.

The campaign covers three major Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Kazan, and Novosibirsk. Viktor Chirkov, head of special projects at Delimobil, emphasized that integrations like this become part of a user's daily routine, increasing engagement and loyalty. Darja Emeljanova, head of marketing communications at OTP Bank, expressed enthusiasm about the campaign offering a new transport option to clients. Darja also stated that the campaign aims to provide significant cashback to clients, with Delimobil passengers paying with an OTP Bank debit card receiving up to 10% cashback as part of the promotion.

OTP Bank, established in 1994, is part of the international financial group OTP (OTP Group). It holds the 1st position in the POS lending market, the 6th position in the auto loan market, and the 7th position in the consumer loan market in Russia. Delimobil, with over 30,000 vehicles in its fleet and serving over 11 million registered users, is currently the largest car-sharing service in Russia by fleet size and number of trips.

This partnership exemplifies the trend in Russia toward integrating fintech solutions with mobility services to create smarter, more connected urban transportation ecosystems. By offering a seamless, financially accessible urban transportation experience, Delimobil and OTP Bank are set to revolutionize the way Russians travel in their cities.

In this partnership between Delimobil and OTP Bank, technology plays a crucial role in integrating financial services into urban mobility, as OTP Bank's digital banking and payment services are now incorporated directly into Delimobil’s platform. This collaboration further extends to business ventures, with OTP Bank offering flexible financing and credit options to Delimobil customers.

The joint promotional campaigns and loyalty programs created through this partnership reward users for utilizing both Delimobil’s mobility services and OTP Bank’s financial products, thereby connecting finance, business, and technology in the realm of urban mobility.
