Bain & Company makes senior-level appointments within its Enterprise Technology department

Bain & Company, a leading global consultancy, has announced changes in its Enterprise Technology (ET) practice leadership. Pascal Gautheron has been appointed as the new global leader, succeeding Stephen Phillips.

Role of Pascal Gautheron

In his new role, Gautheron will lead the global ET practice from Bain's Paris office. His responsibilities include overseeing the firm's efforts to deliver accelerated business transformations by leveraging the most advanced technology platforms and solutions. He will also focus on supporting clients worldwide in their technology-enabled business transformations, particularly in areas like digital and core systems transformations, next-generation technology architectures, agile methodologies, and AI deployments.

Background of Pascal Gautheron

Gautheron brings over 27 years of experience in shaping large technology-enabled business transformations, especially in the banking and financial services sector. He previously served as the head of the ET practice in Asia-Pacific (APAC) since joining Bain in 2017. Gautheron holds an MBA from HEC Paris Business School and began his career as an engineer in Stuttgart and Paris. Originally based in Sydney, Australia, he will now lead the practice from Paris.

The global ET practice of Bain & Company consists of a team of over 1,500 multidisciplinary experts, including data scientists, architects, software engineers, innovators, and designers. Other Leadership Changes

In addition to Gautheron's appointment, Laurent Hermoye becomes the regional leader for ET in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), based in Brussels. Stephen Phillips, the former global leader, will now serve as chairman of the ET practice, working directly with Bain's clients and market-facing forums.
