At CES 2025, a remarkable pair of smart glasses emerged as the top choice for gaming enthusiasts.

In the world of technology, innovation continues to thrive, and the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 was no exception. One of the standout products was the Rokid AR Spatial glasses, a groundbreaking piece of hardware that has taken the gaming world by storm.

Manufactured by Rokid, a renowned Chinese company specialising in AR smart glasses with waveguide display technology, the Rokid AR Spatial glasses are not your typical gaming headset. Instead, they are a pair of smart glasses designed to enhance your gaming experience in a revolutionary way.

The Rokid AR Spatial glasses boast a resolution of 1200p and a brightness of 600 nits, providing a sharp and vibrant virtual world. They also feature a refresh rate of 90Hz, ensuring smooth and seamless gameplay. The glasses use Micro-OLED panels, ensuring high-quality visuals and a wide field of view.

One of the key features of the Rokid AR Spatial glasses is their ability to improve the clarity of the virtual world. This is achieved through their pupillary adjustment feature, which allows users to customise the focus to their eyesight. Users who are nearsighted can adjust the focus of the glasses to their eyesight without needing extra lenses, making them a practical choice for many.

The Rokid AR Spatial glasses can connect to gaming handhelds, laptops, and phones, offering versatility in gaming platforms. They also support a three-screen setup, with a virtual display spanning up to 300 inches, transforming your gaming space.

However, it's important to note that the Rokid AR Spatial glasses do not have a built-in feature to accommodate for individual Interpupillary Distance (IPD), which could potentially cause eye strain or discomfort when used.

Despite this, the Rokid AR Spatial glasses have garnered praise for their myopia adjustment feature, which eliminates the need for extra lenses. They also weigh just 75 grams, making them slightly heavier than some competitors but still comfortable to wear.

The Rokid AR Spatial glasses are currently available for pre-order at $648 from the Rokid homepage. While they may not be perfect, they represent a significant step forward in the world of AR gaming, offering a more immersive and comfortable gaming experience.

Interestingly, the Rokid AR Spatial glasses stand out from competitors like Lenovo's Legion Glasses 2, which do not have a feature to accommodate for individual IPD.

As we move forward, it will be exciting to see how the Rokid AR Spatial glasses and other AR technologies continue to shape the future of gaming.
