Asus ROG Xbox Ally X: Early Reviews Praise Performance, Despite Smaller Display

The Asus ROG Xbox Series S Ally X, a collaboration between Microsoft and Asus, has hit the market. Early reviews are in, and while the 7-inch, 1080p, 120Hz display might be smaller than some competitors, its performance is promising.

The Xbox Series S Ally X, received via Amazon France by reviewer hmika59, boasts a boosted frame rate of around 80fps when FSR is enabled. It maintains reliable performance at 900p to 1080p with medium to high settings, achieving up to 40fps at 25W. However, some users might find the display size reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch OLED model, which is smaller than some other PC gaming handhelds.
