Honor, the popular smartphone brand, is rumored to be making a significant leap in battery technology for its 2025 phone lineup. The upcoming models, including the Magic 8 series, are expected to feature larger batteries with increased capacity, particularly for flagship and mid-range devices.

Starting with the flagship phones, like the Magic 8 series, the rumored battery capacity is at least 7,000mAh. This is a noticeable increase from the Magic7 series, which had batteries ranging between 5,650mAh and 5,850mAh. On the other hand, mid-range phones are expected to feature even larger batteries, potentially 8,000mAh or more. This is a big jump compared to previous mid-range models such as the Honor X60 (5,880mAh) and X60 Pro (6,600mAh).
