Amazon's New 'Add to Delivery' Feature Lets US Prime Members Edit Orders After Placing Them
Amazon has rolled out a new feature, 'Add to Delivery', exclusively for US Prime members. This function allows users to add items to an existing order, even after it has been placed, without creating a new order.
The 'Add to Delivery' button is now visible on eligible items' product pages, below the 'Add to Cart' button. This feature is available for select categories such as electronics, clothing, books, and groceries. It's a convenient way for customers to add forgotten items or make last-minute changes to their orders.
Users can undo an item addition if they select something by mistake. The feature is currently accessible through the Amazon app or on Amazon.com via mobile devices. Amazon has designed this feature to simplify the shopping experience for Prime members.
While the 'Add to Delivery' feature is currently US-exclusive, its availability for non-US Amazon customers depends on meeting certain technical and logistical prerequisites. Amazon has not provided explicit details on its global expansion. The feature is a welcome addition for US Prime members, offering them more flexibility in managing their orders.
