Amazon Makes Book Reading App Accessible Globally on iOS Devices, Beyond US Borders
Welcome folks! Exciting news for us bookworms using iOS devices! Amazon recently expanded itsGet Book systemto countries outside the United States, allowing a smoother shopping experience for international users. No more jumping between apps to make a purchase. Canada is on board, but we Canadians have been asking for this feature for quite a while, while our U.S. neighbors have had it for almost half a year. I'm not sure about the UK and other international markets, so if you're from outside the U.S. or Canada, do let me know in the comments, and I'll update this post!
And the bibliophile fun doesn't stop there! Kobo and Barnes & Noble have gotten in on the action too! Kobo's app offers the Get Book system in various countries around the globe because Kobo operates international stores and supports eBook purchases worldwide through its app and website[1][3]. As for the Barnes & Noble NOOK app, it's only accessible within theUnited Statesat the moment, as that's where the Get Book system is currently available[2].
So if you're like me – always with my nose buried in a book – this is some terrific news! Happy reading, bookworms!

In this exciting technology-centric landscape, it's not just the Get Book system that's expanding its reach – other gadgets like e-readers such as Kobo are venturing globally, making eBook purchases possible across various countries. Moreover, the growing diversity in smartphone technology allows bookworms like us to enjoy e-reading regardless of our location.
