  1. Two off-the-shelf 15 VDC power brick supplies, one providing +15 VDC and the other handing over –15 VDC.
  2. The original internal power supply cable, ready for some adapting.

First things first, remove the gunky old internal power supply and its jumper cable. Carefully note the polarities, colors, and connections.

Now, it's time for some cable surgery. Cut the original jumper cable in half and extend each of the colored wires to a length of 18 inches. This will provide plenty of play for connecting them to the fresh power brick supplies.
